Sharlene Urry has over twenty-five years experience working in swimming development. She is a Level 3 Coach, who leads the Level 3 squad with Bangor Swim Team and at foundation level within the Bangor Barracudas Water polo club. Sharlene has three daughters at the club.
Sharlene is a former British Champion & Irish International Swimmer with the privilege of having captained the team. She represented Northern Ireland at the Commonwealth Games. Sharlene progressed into Water Polo and represented Ireland as a Senior International player.
Sharlene Urry (nee Brown) is the creator and owner/operator of SwimaSong (a recent Foundation level programme for ASA Learn-to-Swim Pathway) and Swimini; she dedicates her time to create and maintain this fantastic Swim environment. The Swimini Swim School is based from the CSMA site in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, and more recently at Kerr’s Rd Pool, Donaghadee.
