Conor Ferguson broke his own record for the 50m backstroke in the same day. In the heats this morning he clocked 23.97, before improving that to 23.84 in the afternoon semi-finals.

The 4x50m medlay relay was another record notched up for Jordan Sloan, as the quartet of Jordan Sloan, A Murphy, Conor Brines and Calum Bain clocked 1:35.63 to break the record by over 3 seconds for 5th in heat 1.

Overall a strong contribution from Bangor to the Team Ireland success in the Euros. Let’s Go Bangor.
