Welcome to Bangor Swimming Club
Founded in 1919, Bangor SC is one of Northern Ireland’s premier competitive swimming clubs and is based at Bangor Castle Leisure Centre which provides an excellent 25m training facility. Bangor will be the location of Northern Ireland’s first competition size 50m pool which is now under construction. Swimmers from Bangor SC have competed at all levels from Irish National level to the Olympic Games. Within our current squads we have Commonwelath Games and International swimmers, National and Ulster Age/Youth winners and finalists. We are the first swimming club in Northern Ireland to be awarded the Clubmark SI quality award. Our vision is:-
